My journey into parenthood began with a rocky start. My son arrived 12 weeks early and spent his first months in hospital. When we finally brought him home, he struggled with reflux and would only sleep on me.
I felt torn — grateful he was safe, yet completely exhausted. Like many parents, I turned to books, podcasts, and research, determined to find a way for us all to get the sleep we needed. What I discovered was how much the right routine, a calm sleep environment, and gentle support can transform life — without ever leaving a baby to cry it out.
When I returned to my corporate role, coaching leaders and shaping the employee experience, I saw just how much lack of sleep impacts well-being, performance, and decision-making. That insight pushed me to formalise my knowledge and train as a certified infant sleep consultant.
Since then, I’ve supported hundreds of families through my 1:1 programmes — locally in Edinburgh, nationwide across the UK, and globally in places as far-reaching as Malaysia, India, and Australia.
My expertise has also been recognised by organisations like IKEA, who invite me to present at parent and baby events; by corporate groups such as Capco seeking workshops for working parents; by Miracle Moon, where I serve as their NICU sleep expert; and as a regular contributor for MADE magazine, where I write on family sleep topics.
Because when families sleep better, everything else becomes possible.
