A Sleep Coach helps you understand what may be influencing your child’s sleep and supports you to make realistic changes to routines, sleep habits, and settling approaches. I create a personalised sleep plan based on your child’s needs, your parenting style, and your family’s lifestyle and guide you as you put that plan into practice.
Think of it like working with a personal trainer. You might already have an idea of what could help, but having expert guidance, reassurance, and accountability can make it easier to apply consistently and with confidence.
You can read reviews from families I’ve supported to get a sense of how this process has helped them feel calmer, more confident, and better equipped to navigate sleep over time.
My aim is for parents to feel informed, supported, and confident in responding to their child’s sleep both now and as things change.
-
Sleep change looks different for every child and family. Timelines vary depending on factors such as your child’s age, temperament, development, health, and how consistently strategies can be implemented.
Some families notice positive shifts early on, while others need more time for things to settle. Rather than working to a fixed timeframe, I focus on supporting you through the process and adjusting the plan as needed.
Your plan is reviewed within the first few days of implementation, and again throughout your support period, to ensure it continues to suit your child and your family.
-
Ongoing support is a key part of the process. If something doesn’t seem to be helping, we’ll review what’s happening and adjust the plan where appropriate during your support period.
Sleep can be influenced by many factors including development, health, temperament, and consistency and progress isn’t always linear.
My role is to guide and support you through those changes with realistic, responsive strategies tailored to your family.
-
My approach to changes to sleep emphasises responsive parenting and minimising distress for your baby. I can’t promise no crying as this is how our kids communicate with us.
I offer supportive techniques that prioritise comfort and reassurance.
The Wee Sleep Coach approach does not involve leaving your child to cry on their own to sleep.
-
I’m trained in a range of different sleep approaches, which allows me to tailor support to each child and family rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all method.
My work is grounded in responsive, gradual strategies. Based on both my professional training and personal experience, I do not use cry-it-out or Ferber-style approaches where a child is left to cry alone.
Instead, The Wee Sleep Coach approach focuses on the foundations of sleep including sleep setup, age-appropriate routines and gentle settling strategies with an emphasis on helping parents respond to their baby or toddler in a way that feels supportive, realistic, and respectful.
Any approach we use is chosen collaboratively and adapted to suit your child’s age, development, and your family’s values. -
I work with babies and toddlers aged six months to three years, and any guidance is tailored to your child’s individual needs and developmental readiness.
I will only begin sleep support when your child is developmentally ready, as gentle sleep changes are most effective when they align with a baby’s stage of development.
If your baby is younger than six months, my Wee Babe Handbook is designed to help you build healthy sleep foundations in those early weeks, without formal sleep training.
There’s no rush early sleep support is about foundations, not forcing change. -
Every child is unique, and sleep can be influenced by many different factors. I tailor my guidance to each family’s situation and take time to understand what may be affecting your child’s sleep.
If your baby has specific challenges or an underlying medical condition, we can discuss this before working together. I’ll always be honest about whether sleep support is appropriate and whether I’m the right person to help. In some cases, I may recommend seeking medical advice or additional specialist support alongside, or instead of, sleep guidance.
-
I’m a qualified OCN Level 3 and Level 6 Paediatric Sleep Practitioner, having completed my Level 6 qualification with distinction through the London School of Childcare Studies.
My work is grounded in evidence-informed practice with training in infant and toddler sleep, behaviour, and family-centred approaches to sleep support. I’m committed to ongoing professional development to ensure my guidance reflects current best practice.
I’m fully insured and work within a clear professional scope, providing sleep guidance and support rather than medical advice.
-
I offer a free, no-pressure consultation where we can talk through what’s currently happening with your child’s sleep, what you’ve already tried, and what matters most to your family.
This gives us both the chance to decide whether my approach feels like the right fit for you, and whether sleep support is appropriate at this stage. If it doesn’t feel aligned, I’ll always be honest and point you towards other options where possible.
-
Life with little ones can be unpredictable. If something unexpected comes up during your support period, we can talk through the best way to handle it and what support may still be possible within the time you have booked.
Support is provided within the agreed support period, and while I’ll always aim to be understanding and flexible where I reasonably can, pauses or changes don’t extend the length of support or alter the terms of the package.
-
Yes. All support is provided virtually, which means I work with families across the UK and internationally.
Support is delivered online via WhatsApp (or an agreed messaging platform) and provided within set support hours based on UK time.
-
WhatsApp support is designed to give you ongoing, thoughtful guidance while still allowing space for you to try things in real life.
You’re welcome to message at any time. Responses are provided during set support windows to ensure I can give families focused, considered replies.
For Consultation Clients, support hours are:
Monday–Friday: 8:00–9:00am, 12:00–1:00pm, and 4:00–5:00pm
Saturday–Sunday: 8:00–9:00am
Response times may vary slightly depending on message volume, availability, or planned time off.
